first I’ve woven recycled cotton string in the centre and 70% round and then a thick hand spun merino. The cotton is quite difficult to felt on so a few casualties were had during the making of this piece.

hand felted every fibre you see and all fibre is from my own stash
Weaving for me became very therapeutic during covid. it was a great escape from the chaos that was going on around us. The weaving of fibres together to create a piece of art is a journey from start to end. And there is definitely no right or wrong when it comes to weaving or creating in general. I hope my pieces inspire you to create!
