fibres used are hand spun and hand dyed by me in our studio, imported Italian lace, cotton, linen, mohair, chiffon silk that’s recycled from India. 

I finished this piece in the misty morning, with the dog horn blaring and a light mist of rain falling, Sunday afternoon.

Weaving for me became very therapeutic during covid.  it was a great escape from the chaos that was going on around us.  The weaving of fibres together to create a piece of art is a journey from start to end.  And there is definitely no right or wrong when it comes to weaving or creating in general.  I hope my pieces inspire you to create!
