Silent / Woven Wall Art

This very textured piece is hand woven. 
made with recycled cotton, hand spun scraps, dyed fibres from my kitchen. Hung on a cedar dowel she’s 20” wide and hangs just over 22” long

Weaving for me became very therapeutic during covid.  it was a great escape from the chaos that was going on around us.  The weaving of fibres together to create a piece of art is a journey from start to end.  And there is definitely no right or wrong when it comes to weaving or creating in general.  I hope my pieces inspire you to create!
