Collection: Hand Spun

What is better way to add texture and interest to your weavings than with Art yarn.

All the hand spun sold in my shop is spun by me.  I often dye my own wool and fibres making each skein truly one of a kind.

There is nothing more important to me then supporting small businesses like my own especially woman owned so I take pride in sourcing only the best quality fibres often locally and always ethnically grown.

prices are based on weight - not yardage.

-I primarily use New Zealand and South African Merino processed in Italy and imported.  But I also import Polwarth, Perendale and Coridale when I can.

-When spinning with a core it a wool core and plied with a brushed mohair or wool yarn as well for strength.  Any autowrap is a cotton, linen, or sometimes lurex thread.

-additives could include sari silk waste, silk noil  cashmere waste, Angelina, nepps, throwster, cotton, viscose, mulberry silk to name a few
